Savoring
“The golden moments in the stream of life rush past us and we see nothing but sand; the angels come to visit us, and we only know them when they are gone.”
Savoring involves mindful awareness of positive experiences to prolong and amplify their value. Learning to slow down and fully appreciate the depth available in a given experience (present, past, or future) can significantly contribute to a person's well-being. Savoring is a skill that can be cultivated with practice; this module will explore why savoring doesn't come naturally to most of us, how it can contribute to our happiness, and what we can do cultivate this skill.
