Personal Growth Experiment

  • For each of the next 21 days, spend at least 20-30 minutes learning about and cultivating your capacity for compassion.

  • For the first 7 days, immerse yourself in the readings, resources, and links provided in this module, and experiment with as many of the different exercises as you can.

  • For the remaining days, focus on the exercises and strategies that resonate most with you.

  • Continue to research the topic in greater depth as time allows, but be sure to practice some type of experiential compassion exercise each day.

  • Record a few notes about what you did each day in your journal or use this Well-Being Strategies Tracker.

  • At the end of the 21 days, go back and re-take the Compassion Questionnaire to see how you're doing!

  • Finally, moving forward, make a plan for how you will continue to cultivate and practice compassion in your life.
